End of previous process
- Remove preceding resin from the hopper and discharge inside the cylinder.
Preparation
- [ Detach the nozzle from the mold ]
- It is not necessary to change the molding temperature of preceding resin if the right temperature range for Z CLEAN is kept.
- If dry color is used, clean the hopper thoroughly.
Clean inside the cylinder
- [ Z CLEAN charge ]
- The normal consumption ranges from 3 to 5 shots (varies according to the color state)
- [ Injection purge by Z CLEAN ]
- A higher injection speed enhances the cleaning effect. In case of an open nozzle, a backpressure purge (*) also enhances its the effect.
※Backpressure purge is a way of successive extrusion of Z CLEAN by measurement of backward pressure.
Clean inside the hot-runner mold
- [ Attach the nozzle to the mold ]
- It is not necessary to change the temperature of mold if the right temperature range for Z CLEAN is kept.
- [ Clean inside the hot-runner mold with Z CLEAN ]
- Return the gauge of molding machine properly. It allows to shorten cleaning time with short cycle (curtail cooling time)
Replace remains inside the cylinder with succeeding resin
- [ Succeeding resin charge ]
- Set the suitable temperature for succeeding resin.
- An increase in the nozzle temperature by 20 to 30°C allows faster replacement with succeeding resin.
- 【Injection purge by succeeding resin】
- Replace Z CLEAN with succeeding resin.
Replace remains inside the hot-runner with succeeding resin
- [ Attach the nozzle to the mold ]
- [ Replace remains inside the hot-runner mold with succeeding resin ]
- Replace Z CLEAN with succeeding resin.
